(April 2007) Advocate Patty Darro was honored with an "Excellence in Service" award by the San Mateo County Probation Department for her work with youth in the delinquency system. As part of Advocates for Children's Group Home Project, she is working with young women at the Margaret J. Kemp Camp for Girls. In addition to her weekly visits where she engages the girls in activities from knitting to trips to Filoli Gardens, she brings in other adults to share their time and expertise. Patty has been an Advocate to many individual youth over the years and is dedicated to being a caring and supportive adult in their lives. Thank you Patty for all you do!
